This Year Travel to Some of the Most Spiritual Places in the World
From time to time, when life becomes unbearable, people try to find solutions to these struggles and challenges. One of the most popular short-time solutions is traveling, and although this can be seen as a form of escapism and not really the best way to solve a problem, it doesn’t necessarily have to be just that. Traveling in itself inspires positive change and, if combined with the right destination, it can bring spiritual help.
Spiritual help comes in various shapes, but what it essentially is is guidance from an outside source. From spiritual healing that includes meditation and prayer to psychic readings that use the power of the sixth sense to channel energy, there are loads of places in the world where you can feel the connection with the divine. Here are some of the places with the strongest energy field:
Machu Picchu, Peru
On most people’s travel list buckets, this new Wonder of the World is an ancient Inca site and a place filled with a type of energy that can’t be experienced anywhere else. It is a sacred place, built so that it is orientated to certain astronomical events and positioned within concentric circles of mountains. With spiritual-tourism boosting, there are plenty of Andean shamans at Machu Picchu that can cleanse you spiritually or invite you to a ceremony to show your gratitude to Mother Earth.
Rishikesh, India
The world capital of yoga, Rishikesh, is a small town in the North of India visited by many yoga practitioners or people who want to go on a spiritual journey. Considered sacred, this town is a wonderful place for those seeking relaxation, meditation, and peace. There are various styles of yoga and meditation that you can practice and also numerous ashrams (places of religious retreat). One of the best times to visit Rishikesh is in March when the International Yoga Festival takes place and you can take part in a comprehensive yoga programme, as well as learn about the properties of various medicinal plants and eat organic food.
Rila, Bulgaria
This place is considered the most spiritual place in the world and people who spend the night there dream strange things and find their most needed answers. The reason behind this is that this particular mountain range is one of the strongest energy centers of the world. It is also the place from which Beinsa Douno, a Bulgarian philosopher and spiritual teacher, had chosen to share his wisdom. Every year, the followers and pilgrims of ‘Brotherhood’ dress in white clothing and dance rituals. If this sounds like a bit too much for you, then just enjoy the beautiful views, the peace, and the good energy that Rila holds.
Whatever your goals are for this year or for your wellbeing, going on a spiritual trip can only be beneficial. It brings you closer to Mother Nature and makes you appreciate more your surroundings. Each spiritual place is unique, so find one that suits your beliefs and faith and embark into your journey with your mind and heart open.
