Awesome list! So cool to see you’ve do e so much of it already 🙂
Hey Mrs. Heyward… I told you I would check your blog out!! Anyway, you can get both manta ray and whale shark swimming checked off your list at the Georgia Aquarium, even though you don’t technically travel!!! (….I sound like an advertisement) You can swim with them and lots of other animals in that tank. You can also have animal encounters with other animals in the aquarium as well as the Atlanta Zoo (even if some of the animals there aren’t on your list)!

Haha, you know, you’re right! There are tons of treasures even at home!!! Although it definitely ups the Magic in the wild! But swimming with the otters was at a zoo, lol. Thanks for checking it out!!
I suggest the addition of cruising through the Panama Canal. It was one of the greatest thrills of my life. To think that this 19th century technology has never failed is mind-boggling, as are the number of huge ships lining up 24/7 to pass through it.
Also, I did it in 2011 and we could see construction on the new super canal that parallels it that will allow aircraft carriers and super-tankers to pass through. That would be super amazing to see one of those mammer-jammers going along beside you!
I highly recommend Norwegian Cruise Line’s Star. Even Clark Howard recommended it. It is an older, smaller ship, so the fares are lower.
We took a 15-day cruise with a porthole room for $1250. There were people aboard who had paid $449 last-minute!
We also visited 6 countries on one cruise and did amazing adventurous things every other day, and spent the sea days reading and eating and relaxing.
My most perfect cruise ever!
I’ve been to the Canal but not through it! I bet that was an adventure!
I hope to do at least 1 thing on your bucket list with you!!
I would so love that! <3
